WD-Series
Energy Efficient - Long Lamp Life
The ceiling or wall mounted "WD" is ideal for lighting such areas as low temperature coolers, parking garages, food service areas, paint areas, car washes, meat processing/agricultural areas, under a canopy, or any other area where water, vapor, or high humidity are present. Its efficient use of electronic ballasts and compact fluorescent lamps provides lighting output much greater than that of standard 4" T1 2 or T8 lamps.
With a variety of lamp choices, the "WD" series can produce lumen packages ranging from 3,150 to 19,200 lumens. Fixture wattages range from 38 to 210 watts providing as much as a 40% increase in light in a smaller package. Long lamp life, up to 20,000 hours, saves on lamp replacement labor and reduces maintenance costs.
Structurally Sound
The fiberglass body is reinforced polyester and self extinguishing. The reinforced construction eliminates body flex during installation. The gasketed inverted U-slot provides a positive continuous sea[ between the body and diffuser. Cleaning is made easy by an internal crepe pattern on the diffuser which allows for a smooth exterior surface, Polycarbonate diffusers and tamper proof latches are available for those installations requiring increased security.
The Best Replacement
The Sportlite "WD" series options make it a very versatile and adaptable fixture for many types of installations. There are various body housings, lamp wattage's, lamp color temperatures, and diffuser types available. This allows you to specify the parameters of each fixture for a variety of applications.
Environmentally Friendly
The "WD" series allows the use of compact fluorescent lamps with an EPA Rating that permits for general disposal. This saves on recycling and relamp costs.
